Year-Round Educational Programs and Loving Care For Your Child

StoryHeights Montessori is open year-round, offering consistent, high-quality care in a nurturing Montessori environment that fosters a genuine lifelong love of learning through:

  • Using the Montessori methodology. This methodology is known for recognizing each child as an individual and values and celebrates their uniqueness. At our early childhood education centers, children learn at their own pace without artificial constraints.
  • Hiring a talented and nurturing teaching staff that create and model excitement about learning.

Standard Age Groupings

  • Infants (6 weeks - 15 months)
  • Toddlers (16 months - 2 years 8 months)
  • Primary (2 years 9 months - 6 years)

Year-Round Programs & Daily Care Hours

  • Regular Day: 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • Early Care Options: 7:30am - 9:00am
  • Late Care Options: 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Available Schedules

  • 2 Day: Tue/Thu (infants & toddlers only)
  • 3 Day: Mon/Wed/Fri for infants & toddler‍
  • 4 Day: Flexible (primary only - pick any 4 days)
  • 5 Day: Full Week

Our Programs

Infant Program

For children aged 6 weeks through 15 months. This program enrolls up to 7 infants with two teachers.

Our Montessori Approach

At StoryHeights Montessori, we follow an AMS (American Montessori Society)-oriented approach, which blends the core priniciples of Montessori education with practical flexibility to meet the needs of today's families. Unlike the strict AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) model, which adheres rigidly to Maria Montessori's orginial methods, AMS allows for a more adaptable and inclusive approach while still upholding Montessori Excellence.

Our Approach to Communication & Guidance

At StoryHeights Montessori, we speak to children with kindness and respect, using positive language of limits to guide behavior. Instead of saying “Don’t run,” we say “Let’s use walking feet.” Rather than “Stop grabbing,” we say “Let’s take turns.” We never yell or raise our voices, but instead use positive redirection and reinforcement to help children make good choices. Our goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to grow.
